The Merlin UV is a 9 Watt UV-A (365Nm) PL tube.

The Merlin UV9 is used to inspect certain characteristics in banknotes, drivers licenses, passports and creditcards.

The 9 Watt PL-lamp is also useable when there is a lot of (day-)light, which is often not possible when using a lower watts light.
